The team is committed to maintaining high standards of service delivery and contributing to Zelis award-winning culture.Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop Data Pipelines & Assets with at least 5 years of experience.- Utilize Columnar MPP Cloud data warehouse (Snowflake/Azure Synapse/Redshift) for a minimum of 3 years.- Work with ETL tools like Azure Data factory, Fivetran / DBT for 2 years.- Develop analytics-ready data assets, taxonomies, and hierarchies to power BI dashboards and provider insights.- Collaborate with BI Developers, Data Analysts, and Tech Product Analysts to translate business needs into well-structured data models.- Create and optimize dbt transformations and Snowflake data marts to support standardized KPIs and consistent reporting.- Ensure accuracy and reliability of curated data for downstream analytics and visualization.- Define metadata, lineage, and business definitions in DI workflows.- Document solution flows, mappings, and knowledge artifacts for transparency and governance.- Participate in Agile processes to deliver DI priorities with clear business alignment.- Contribute to data governance initiatives and stay updated with healthcare data standards and regulatory needs.Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.- 4-6 years of experience in data modeling, analytics engineering, or BI-enablement roles.- Proficiency in Snowflake and dbt for developing analytics-ready datasets.- Strong skills in SQL for creating data marts and optimized queries.- Working knowledge of data governance concepts and BI tools.- Familiarity with Agile tools and strong documentation skills.- Experience working with large, complex datasets in cloud data ecosystems.Preferred Qualifications:- Domain experience in US Healthcare data.- Knowledge of healthcare data standards and data quality frameworks.- Understanding of data privacy and compliance requirements.- Strong collaboration skills to work across business, product, and technical stakeholders.
