Job Description

As an Application Engineering IV at EY, you will be leading a team that provides senior level IT technical lead services across platforms, overseeing secure API integration, aligning architecture with user and enterprise goals, and driving software documentation standards.**Key Responsibilities:**- Hire, evaluate, and supervise crew, providing guidance and training as necessary for their development- Provide senior level IT technical lead and architecture services for critical software projects on multiple platforms- Lead IT deliverables viability, approve technical deliverables, conduct testing, and provide production support for products- Identify and approve technical solutions, resolve technical problems, and anticipate and prevent technology issues- Communicate with key stakeholders on project issues, evaluate impacts of change requests, and maintain knowledge of IT development methodology and technical standards- Review and approve documentation, identify opportunities for continuous quality improvement, and develop code and test artifacts- Collaborate with the team to amplify productivity, comply with IT and Information Security policies, and maintain a broad understanding of business processes**Qualifications Required:**- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role focusing on application engineering- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field- Proven experience in leading technical teams and mentoring junior developers- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development methodologies- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies is a plus- Solid experience with databases and data modeling- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills**Skills and Attributes for Success:**- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills- Constantly updating yourself about new technologies- Winning personality and ability to become a trusted advisor to stakeholders**Additional Details:**EY is a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction, and advisory services, with a focus on technology solutions integrated into client services.
