Job Description

    As a Data and Analytics Application Support Manager within a Production Management team, you will be responsible for providing technical support for global production applications and infrastructure. You will lead a team that offers frontline support for incident management, including reporting, root cause analysis, production efficiency improvements, and ad hoc support during pre-production change management cycles. Your partnership with key stakeholders across business and technology teams will be crucial in balancing production stability with customer satisfaction. Drawing from your previous production support experience, you will identify and engineer solutions for chronic issues and automation initiatives to reduce toil in the environment.Your role will involve collaborating with application development, infrastructure, and implementation teams in a collaborative environment. You will leverage established partnerships to influence best practices, identify improvement opportunities, ensure compliance with risk and controls standards, and drive efficiency gains for the supported platforms.The ideal candidate for this position possesses excellent communication skills, adapts communication style to the audience, and delivers critical information clearly and concisely. You should be a strong analytical thinker with business acumen, able to assimilate information quickly, and focus on incident and problem management.**Key Responsibilities:**- Incident Management: - Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills and a drive to assist internal and external customers. - Conduct monitoring tasks including maintenance and patching validation. - Create technical documentation and agile stories for alerting, monitoring, and self-healing.- Knowledge Management: - Review historical records to enhance product and technical knowledge. - Contribute to a team-based resolution environment with a focus on updating customer incidents promptly.- Communication: - Handle internal and external customer interactions professionally and with the highest level of service. - Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with the team and customers.- Innovation: - Implement continuous process improvement to optimize technical processing. - Identify and implement initiatives that create efficiencies.**Qualifications Required:**- 5 years of experience managing a production support team.- 3 years of experience supporting cloud solutions (both hosted and on-prem).- 3 years of experience with Unix, Windows, and VMware.- Knowledge of Data Warehouse Technologies, strong ETL, SQL, and database skills.- AWS Certifications of Associate level Solution Architect.- 1 year of experience supporting and troubleshooting databases such as Cassandra, Hadoop, SQL, MySQL, Oracle, Teradata, and AWS.- 1 year of experience supporting Java web frameworks (Spring).This position requires a dedicated individual who can take ownership, provide procedural and technical support to various teams, and internal/external stakeholders.
