Associate Information Systems Analyst - Finance

Job Description

You will be joining Amgens Finance team in a vital role to support Finance process and technology requirements for the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization. Your responsibilities will include:- Overseeing annual budget / LRP and quarterly forecast processes to ensure well-planned and executed system processes- Ensuring data quality and integrity in Anaplan and the Hyperion Financial Planning and Reporting system- Developing and executing plans to analyze, identify, test, and resolve operational issues- Collaborating with key business partners to implement continuous process and system improvements- Supporting system training programs and conducting training sessions for global business usersQualifications required for this role are:Basic Qualifications:- Masters degree with 2 years of Information Systems and/or Finance experienceOr- Bachelors degree with 4 years of Information Systems and/or Finance experiencePreferred Qualifications:- Experience in using and/or supporting Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion Planning (HP), and Data Relationship Management (DRM)- Experience with Smartview Queries over Essbase- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or Finance Management Information Systems- Functional knowledge of financial budgeting and reporting processes in a large company environment- Experience with financial reporting, metrics, and key finance performance indicators- Strong organizational skills and ability to work with technical (IT) and Finance teams- Ability to build and maintain relationships across various levels and functions- Strong analytical skills, interpersonal communication (written and oral) skills, and computer literacySoft Skills:- Effective analytical and communication skills (both verbal and written)- Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams- High degree of initiative and self-motivation- Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully- Collaborative mindset with a focus on achieving team goalsAmgen fosters an inclusive environment where diverse, ethical, committed, and accomplished individuals work together to advance science and serve patients.
