Associate Staff Engineer, Data Engineer (Snowflake)

Job Description

As an experienced professional with a total of 5 years of experience in Data engineering, you have hands-on working experience in SQL, Python, or Scala. You possess a deep understanding of Cloud Design Patterns and their implementation. Your experience includes working with Snowflake as a data warehouse solution and Power BI data integration. Your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL processes. You will work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, and have a strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and relational database systems.Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes- Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources- Have a strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and relational database systems- Write and review high-quality code- Understand the clients business use cases and technical requirements and convert them into technical designs- Identify different solutions and select the best option that aligns with the clients requirements- Define guidelines for NFR considerations- Review architecture and design aspects to ensure best practices are followed- Develop and design solutions for defined functional and non-functional requirements- Carry out POCs to validate suggested designs and technologiesQualifications Required:- Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related fieldYou are known for your strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement. Your excellent communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Additionally, you have hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica, or similar.
