Job Description

Role Overview:As the AVP, IAM End User Service Delivery and Automation at Synchrony, you will be responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and continuous enhancement of the user access management lifecycle. You will oversee a team focusing on secure provisioning and deprovisioning of authorized access while advancing automation initiatives through Agentic AI and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). Your role will involve utilizing Synchronys SailPoint IdentityIQ identity governance platform to reduce manual efforts, enhance process controls, and support the identity governance and technology roadmap.Key Responsibilities:- Act as the product owner of Synchronys user access management service delivery and automation process, leading strategy, design, and implementation within the SAFE Agile framework.- Lead and develop a high-performing team of senior analysts and engineers focused on user access provisioning, deprovisioning, oversight, and automation.- Drive the identification, design, development, and deployment of RPA solutions and integrations to minimize manual tasks for security administration.- Collaborate with security administration leads and SailPoint IdentityIQ onboarding teams to facilitate application integrations with the RPA platform.- Oversee user access management controls including timely termination of access, automated provisioning error resolution, and proper authorization of access.- Formulate and execute agentic AI and automation strategies aligned with business goals to improve operational efficiency and maintain compliance.- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and ensure effective implementation.- Mentor and coach team members to foster continuous learning and professional development.- Provide deep technical expertise on user access administration, SailPoint IdentityIQ configurations, Agentic AI, and IAM best practices.- Maintain management and compliance of user access management processes necessary to support platform capabilities and integrations.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Business Management.- Minimum of 8 years of IT experience, including at least 3 years leading identity governance processes and technologies in a regulated environment.- Minimum 5 years of role administration experience within SailPoint IdentityIQ.- Minimum 1 year of leading Agentic AI initiatives in IAM security administration services.- Minimum 1 year of experience as an IAM process control owner.- Minimum 1 year of experience managing and developing teams within IAM, including analysts and engineers focused on service delivery and automation.Note: The eligibility criteria include a minimum of 8 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years leading identity governance processes in a regulated environment. The work timings for this role are from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST, with flexibility options for remote work or engagement from Synchronys Regional Engagement Hubs.
