As a Senior Software Engineer in the Business/Solution Consultant role at CGI, you will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise in the Retail Supply Chain domain to optimize supply chain efficiency and planning accuracy. Your main responsibilities will include collaborating with business stakeholders, technical teams, and clients to design and implement retail supply chain solutions. Your role will also involve working closely with technical teams during solution implementation and testing, supporting the product development life cycle, and ensuring alignment of business solutions with organizational goals and client expectations.**Key Responsibilities:**- Partner with clients to understand business needs and define appropriate retail supply chain solutions.- Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, and process mapping.- Provide functional and domain expertise in retail forecasting, planning, and replenishment processes.- Work closely with technical teams during solution implementation and testing.- Support the product development life cycle and assist in user training and documentation.- Ensure alignment of business solutions with organizational goals and client expectations.**Qualifications Required:**- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field or higher with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.In this role, you must have a strong understanding of the Retail Supply Chain Business Domain, expertise in Inventory Management, Order Fulfillment, Procurement, and Merchandising processes.
