Job Description

    You will be responsible for maintaining and developing new features in any of the Teradata database groups (server or client). You should have the ability to understand requirement specifications or design documents and translate them into working code. Additionally, you must be able to think creatively to solve complex computer problems by providing design/code alternatives and possess strong analytical skills.Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and develop new features in Teradata database groups- Translate requirement specifications/design documents into working code- Provide design/code alternatives for solving complex computer problems- Demonstrate strong analytical skillsQualifications Required:- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science- 3 to 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in R&D based teams/companies- Advanced programming knowledge using C/C language- Development exposure on Linux platform- Strong debugging skills and usage of tools (GDB, Eclipse)- Experience in using the correct Data Structures/Algorithms to solve problemsNice to have Skills:- Ability to understand and work with complex massively parallel software- Understanding of RDBMS concepts- SQL knowledge- Flair for research to solve complex problemsAdditionally, you must have good verbal and written communication skills.Please note that the company requires a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science for this role.
