As a Technology Lead or Senior Technology Lead in the Cloud Engineering team at EY, your role will involve being a part of the delivery of IT projects for customers globally. Your responsibilities will include:- Driving Cloud Optimization: Analyzing workload performance and costs to lead initiatives for right-sizing and re-architecting cloud environments.- Managing Rate Optimization: Strategically adopting rate optimization strategies to secure significant savings.- Delivering Financial Insights: Developing advanced analytics on cloud cost data for forecasting, budgeting, and anomaly detection.- Chargeback/Showback: Improving and maintaining models that attribute cloud spend for enhanced accountability.- Ensuring Financial Accuracy: Overseeing cloud invoice reconciliation and allocations with finance teams.- Embedding FinOps Culture: Leading efforts to integrate cost-awareness into engineering workflows.- Empowering Self-Service: Building dashboards and integrating FinOps KPIs for self-service analytics.- Overseeing FinOps Tools: Acting as an expert for third-party FinOps tooling and managing vendors.- Implementing Cost Optimization automation themes.Skills and attributes required for success in this role include deep Cloud Cost Expertise, Advanced FinOps Knowledge, Data & Platform Fluency, Bilingual Communication, Architectural Awareness, Financial Process Savvy, and Proven Influencer capabilities. Additionally, FinOps Practitioner Certification and Cloud Vendor Certifications are preferred.To qualify for this role, you must have a BE/ with 6 to 8 years of industry experience, Cloud Computing knowledge in multi-cloud environments, experience in managing FinOps tools, hands-on experience with Azure / AWS / GCP Infrastructure Services, scripting knowledge in Python and cloud native CLIs, and proficiency in IAC tools such as Terraform.Preferred skills include FinOps Practitioner Certification, cloud vendor certifications, and knowledge in Terraform Cloud and Ansible Tower.EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) offers a dynamic and truly global delivery network with fulfilling career opportunities.
