Consultant- Technical (Core Java, J2EE, PL/SQL)

Job Description

As a Technical Consultant at Model N Life Sciences, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the revenue management application implemented in Java. Here is a summary of your role, key responsibilities, and qualifications required:Role Overview:You will be a part of the Professional Services Technical Team and will work on implementing Model N systems. Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and testing customizations to enhance the Model N Life Sciences solution using Java, Oracle, and scripting languages. Additionally, you will assist customers with technical tasks related to implementations, deployment, and interface strategy.Key Responsibilities:- Participate in implementations of Model N systems as a member of the Professional Services Technical Team.- Design, develop, and test customizations in collaboration with Solution Architect/Tech Lead and Clients teams.- Create custom applications using Java, Oracle, and Scripting languages to support and enhance the Model N LS solution.- Assist customers with technical tasks related to implementations, deployment, and interface strategy.- Drive data loading efforts by working with customers to explain data formats, assist with mapping, perform data loading, and report errors.- Provide consultation and support to Professional Services colleagues when needed.Qualifications Required:- B. Tech (Computer Science) or equivalent degree.- 2 to 4 years of work experience.- Experience in object-oriented design/programming, with hands-on experience in Core Java, J2EE, server-side Java, and Java/JDBC.- Oracle SQL, PL/SQL experience is required.- Development experience with web-based technologies (e.g., HTML, XML) and exposure to middle-tier programming using Servlets is desired.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.- Ability to adapt design and development approaches based on business requirements.About Model N:Model N is the leader in revenue optimization and compliance for pharmaceutical, medtech, and high-tech innovators.
