At PwC, as part of the data and analytics engineering team, you will focus on leveraging advanced technologies and techniques to design and develop robust data solutions for clients. Your role is crucial in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth.Key Responsibilities:- Design and build data infrastructure and systems for efficient data processing and analysis- Develop and implement data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions- Motivate, develop, and inspire team members to deliver quality results- Coach team members, leverage their unique strengths, and manage performance to meet client expectations- Identify opportunities contributing to the firms success- Lead with integrity, articulating purpose and values effectively- Analyze and identify linkages within systems- Take ownership of projects from planning to completion- Ensure quality, timelines, and deliverables are met collectively with team leadership- Mentor team members and deepen their expertise through work reviews- Address conflicts and engage in difficult conversations with stakeholders- Uphold professional and technical standards and independence requirementsQualifications Required:- Bachelors Degree- 7 years of experience- Oral and written proficiency in EnglishPreferred Qualifications:- Bachelors Degree in Computer and Information Science, Database Administration, Management Information Systems, Software Applications, Cloud technologies- Knowledge of data architecture and management- Strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, and SQL- Experience with Azure data services and building high-volume batch and real-time pipelines- Familiarity with relational databases, NoSQL concepts, Git-based workflows, CI/CD, and containerization- Experience in creating scalable analytics solutions, data integration using iPaaS tools, process design, data models, data visualization tools, and documenting processesAt PwC Acceleration Centers, you will actively support various services from Advisory to Assurance, Tax, and Business Services.
