Job Description

    Role Overview:Join the Data Science, Analytics, and AI team supporting Macquarie Asset Management to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment. As a Data Scientist, you will collaborate with various business and analytics leaders to generate insights using statistical analysis, machine learning, natural language processing, and generative AI. Your role will involve proposing innovative solutions to problems and applying these approaches to enterprise and third-party data. Additionally, you will work with global teams across different time zones.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with business and analytics leaders to generate insights using statistical analysis, machine learning, and AI.- Propose innovative ways to address problems and apply these approaches to available data.- Work with global teams across different time zones.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, or a related field.- 6 years of postgraduate experience or 4 years in data analysis and predictive modeling.- Proficiency in machine learning algorithms, including deep learning techniques such as GANs, VAEs, Transformers, and experience in ML Ops/AI Ops.- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for scalable model training and deployment, classical data science, and generative AI methodologies.- Hands-on experience in statistical and predictive modeling like regression, clustering, neural networks, and at least two areas such as deep learning, NLP, causal inference, or time series forecasting.- Proficient in tools like SQL, R, or Python for data analysis.
