Job Description

    Role Overview:You will be a Qualcomm Hardware Board Design Engineer, playing a crucial role in designing hardware platforms for state-of-the-art AR/VR products. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify hardware testing needs, integrating components into products, and maintaining hardware throughout the product cycle. You are expected to have up to 3 years of relevant experience and a keen interest in system architectures from XR products.Key Responsibilities:- Designing high-speed boards, conducting schematic design, layout reviews, and test and integration processes.- Incorporating various functionalities such as Processors, graphics engines, digital audio, USB OTG, Bluetooth, GPS, SPI, I2C, DDR, MIPI, MDDI, and LAN into hardware platforms.- Quickly assimilating onto specified projects, reading/writing technical specifications, developing hardware designs, and applying integration/lab skills.- Supporting bring-up for MSMs, running DVT and MTP performance testing & verification, and ensuring platforms meet requirements.- Having a good working knowledge of EDA tools like HFSS, ADS, and the ability to develop automation scripts with Python.Qualification Required:- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.- Up to 3 years of relevant experience in hardware board design.- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work closely with software and RF engineers.- Proficiency in communication skills to convey complex information effectively.Additional Details:Omit this section as there are no additional details about the company provided in the job description.
