Job Description

    Role Overview:As a Financial Controller at Novartis India, your primary responsibility will be to lead the financial control function to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information and compliance with financial regulations. You will manage a team of financial professionals to ensure timely preparation of financial reports and regulatory filings.Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.- Ensure compliance with Indian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (IGAAP).- Manage the financial close process and ensure the accuracy of financial data.- Lead and supervise a team of financial professionals.- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.- Work with external auditors to ensure compliance with audit requirements.- Monitor and manage financial risks.- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial support.Qualifications Required:- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification.- Minimum 8 years of experience in financial control or a related role.- Experience in managing a team of financial professionals.- Strong understanding of IGAAP and other relevant accounting standards.- Excellent leadership and communication skills.- Experience working with large multinational companies (preferred).Additional Details:Novartis India offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, along with opportunities for career growth and development.
