Job Description

    Role Overview:As a Forecast Analyst at IQVIA, you will be responsible for becoming the subject matter expert for the Clinical Trial Payment departments forecasting service. Your primary duties will include preparing, delivering, and analyzing the forecast report. You will also be required to communicate with internal and external stakeholders, adjust assumptions as needed, and validate forecast report data to ensure accuracy and client satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to understand each clinical trial receiving the forecasting service- Build and develop baseline assumptions used in the forecast- Ensure all forecasting requirements are met and assist in meeting those requirements- Work with IT to ensure successful loading of assumptions into the forecast model- Produce and distribute the forecast report to end-users- Analyze and validate forecasting report output against actual data, making updates as needed- Adjust forecast report assumptions throughout the trial to maintain accuracy- Support the effort in updating IQVIAs Clinical Trial Payments forecast enhancements- Create, run, and analyze ad hoc reports as needed- Support operations improvement initiatives- Perform any other duties as assignedQualifications Required:- Bachelors Degree in IT, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Business, or a related field- 5 years of prior relevant experience- Working knowledge of the clinical trial process, specifically investigator contracts and essential site documents- Experience in financial forecast and accrual reporting and analysis- Experience with a business intelligence application such as MicroStrategy or Spotfire- Strong customer-oriented communication skills- Aptitude for numbers, finance, and data analysis- Strong attention to detail, organizational, documentation, and interpersonal skills- Ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented environment- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills- Prior experience with commercial reporting tools or the ability to learn quickly- Flexibility to work in EU shift timings from 2 PM to 11 PM ISTAbout IQVIA:IQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights, and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
