Job Description

    As an IT Procurement Manager, your role will involve working with Global Leaders to develop and execute a world-class procurement function, focusing on categories such as Software, Hardware, Datacentre, and Telecommunications. Your key responsibilities will include:- Creating and executing category strategies for the specified categories- Managing end-to-end procurement of products and services within these categories- Collaborating with key business stakeholders to achieve business savings and deliver valueTo be successful in this role, you will need the following skills:- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of best practice procurement processes, including contract negotiation and market research- 5 years experience in procurement category management- Expertise in IT procurement, including Software, Hardware, Datacentre Services, and Telecoms- Experience in opportunity identification and spend analysis- Proficiency in contract management, including drafting, review, and negotiation- Advanced stakeholder management skills and effective communication abilities- Ability to support business objectives, deliver innovation, and identify cost-saving opportunities- Experience in supplier assessment, selection, negotiation, and contracting- Familiarity with Ariba or online procurement tools (preferred but not essential)In addition to the technical skills, soft skills required for this role include:- Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills- Ability to work on multiple assignments and in a fast-paced environment- Hands-on, practical approach with a self-starter attitude- Out-of-the-box solutions-thinking mindset- Flexibility, teamwork, and ability to challenge to clarify business requirements- Intermediate knowledge of MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, and MS-Word (advanced skills desirable)- Good knowledge of Outlook and SharePointOverall, as an IT Procurement Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving procurement strategies, managing key categories, and delivering value to the business through effective procurement practices.
