IT Project Manager and Business Support Lead - Manager

Job Description

You are looking for an IT Project and Business Support Lead to plan and track high-priority technology projects while also serving as a Scrum Master. The role entails a strong understanding of Program Management, Contracts Management, Financial Management, and Resource Management. You will collaborate with Business and IT stakeholders globally.**Key Responsibilities:**- Develop and maintain roadmaps and project plans with milestones, dependencies, and releases for complex multi-phase, multi-region critical programs/projects.- Facilitate and integrate dependent tasks and activities related to project delivery.- Support and maintain program/project level governance control procedures.- Play the role of a Scrum Master, facilitating the team in resolving roadblocks, building Kanban & Scrum metrics, and driving improvements in Agile Delivery Maturity.- Identify delivery risks and issues, facilitating resolution with the delivery team.- Track & analyze financial budgets, allocations, and forecasts throughout planning and execution cycles.- Ensure project artifacts are audit-ready and compliant with SDLC policies/procedures.- Collaborate with global PMO teams in the USA to synchronize the overall portfolio for budgets and tracking.- Engage in proactive communications (presentations) with program sponsors, IT and Business sponsors, delivery teams, and stakeholders regarding program status and progress.- Manage and coach junior team members, including direct management of some staff members.**Qualifications Required:**- 10 years of overall experience with a minimum of 5 years in Program Management.- Experience working as a Scrum Master.- Strong experience in SharePoint, Clarity, Beeline, JIRA, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, and other project management tools.- Excellent skills in preparing effective PowerPoint presentations.- Excellent and proactive communication, articulation, and collaboration skills.**Good to have skills:**- PMI or Prince2 professional qualifications are preferable.- Scrum Master Certification.- Good understanding of waterfall and Agile SDLC methodology.This role is crucial as the IT Project and Business Support Lead in the Global Technology Services (GTS) of State Street.
