Java Backend Developer

Job Description

As a highly skilled Java Backend Developer with experience in Spring Boot, RESTful API development, and AWS cloud services, your role will involve designing, developing, and deploying scalable microservices and backend components for high-performance enterprise applications.Key Responsibilities:- Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using Core Java, Java 8, and Spring Boot.- Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise systems.- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.- Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, CloudWatch, etc.).- Utilize AWS CI/CD tools (CodePipeline, CodeBuild) or Jenkins/GitHub Actions.- Work with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration (Kubernetes/ECS) is a plus.- Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, DynamoDB, MongoDB.- Write performant queries, stored procedures, and schemas.- Implement unit tests using JUnit, Mockito.- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.- Optimize systems for high performance, resilience, and security.- Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams.- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives).- Provide technical guidance to junior developers.Qualifications Required:- Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.- Proficiency in AWS cloud services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, CloudWatch.- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization tools.- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito.- Ability to work collaboratively in Agile environments.(Note: Preferred candidate profile information is not provided in the job description.)
