Job Description

As an experienced Java Architect with a minimum of 7 years of experience in building large and complex architecture/re-design projects, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:- End-to-end understanding of all phases of project implementation with a strong focus on design aspects and hands-on development.- Demonstrating expertise in enterprise Java language with specialized coverage on frameworks and libraries, specifically working on digital web applications.- Applying a deep understanding of Java design principles and hands-on experience in Java 8, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate.- Implementing secured, high-quality REST APIs and microservices design, security designs, and best practices.- Applying design patterns, integration patterns, and non-functional parameters of large-scale applications, focusing on scalability, resiliency, and maintainable architecture systems with the Java platform.- Understanding and implementing secure coding practices, performance parameters, troubleshooting design flaws, and system bottlenecks by investigating application logs.- Demonstrating excellent knowledge of RDBMS systems like MS-SQL Server, Postgres SQL, Oracle, or MySQL, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Cassandra.- Identifying hardware and software infrastructure needs to accommodate architectural goals, performing validation tests, ensuring flexibility and scalability of the Java environment.- Assisting the software design team with application integration, conducting system performance tests, and building concurrent applications using Java.- Collaborating closely with Client architects and Business teams to define technical solutions and enhance existing application architecture.- Applying TDD/BDD practices, unit/mock testing frameworks like JUnit, JMock, using a distributed cache, XML-based parsing/transformation, and XML Schema.- Leveraging deep knowledge of the Java/JEE ecosystem for building multi-tier and service-oriented business applications, as well as experience with building Micro Front-end applications using frameworks like Angular 11 versions or React.- Demonstrating good experience with persistence frameworks and standards like JPA and Hibernate, as well as hands-on experience in architecting, designing, and developing large-scale distributed server-side enterprise applications.- Possessing sound knowledge of public Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google, etc., working with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, Bitrise, CircleCI, TravisCI, and understanding standard protocols like HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL, etc.- Having working knowledge of build tools like Maven or Gradle and experience with large greenfield or brownfield implementations.- Nice to have: Cloud Certified and Trained (AWS Solution Architect or equivalent) in the functional domain of Dealer Management Services in Automobile services, with at least 1-3 years of hands-on experience in DMS systems and knowledge of High Availability & DR implementations.
