Job Description

Role Overview:You will design and develop applications with a focus on simplicity, reliability, manageability, scalability, extensibility, performance, and reusability. Your responsibilities will include performing requirement analyses, developing high-quality and detailed designs, identifying risks and conducting mitigation action planning, using coding standards and best practices to ensure quality, performing code reviews, suggesting coding practices to the team, following Agile best practices to help the team deliver on time, and being responsible for various stages of the software development lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop applications with a focus on simplicity, reliability, manageability, scalability, extensibility, performance, and reusability- Perform requirement analyses and develop high-quality and detailed designs- Identify risks and conduct mitigation action planning- Use coding standards and best practices to ensure quality- Perform code reviews and suggest coding practices to the team- Follow Agile best practices to help the team deliver on time- Be responsible for story preparation, development of code, writing automated unit and integration tests, getting sign-off from the manager, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of code- Design, implement, and launch highly-visible features for the retail platform using Test/Behavior Driven Development practices- Support the operations of the product in production- Continuously grow your skills and value through pair programming and code reviews- Practice relentless automation, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and DevOps- Work collaboratively with technical and business team members to develop and maintain business solutions following Agile development principles and practices- Be flexible to be available on call as per project need- Work independently when requiredQualifications Required:- Strong hands-on development experience on Java 8- Total professional experience of 6 to 9 years- Thorough understanding of Object-Oriented analysis and design principles- Hands-on experience in application/Product Development and Spring framework- Strong working experience in Microservices- Strong working experience in Spring Boot- Strong working experience of Java Messaging Services (JMS) and Kafka- Strong working experience on RESTful APIs- Strong working knowledge of Cloud along with Docker and Kubernetes- Strong working knowledge of SQL- Strong working knowledge of Junit, Java, REST API, Microservices- Knowledge of CI/CD- Knowledge of SQL Performance Tuning- Knowledge of Cloud- Experience working in Kafka- Experience of Monitoring (Splunk, NR, Grafana, etc.), Docker, K8s, PCF, Elastic Search, Redis CacheAdditional Details:Omit this section as no additional details of the company are provided in the job description.
