Lead Application Support Engineer

Role Overview:As a Lead Application Support Engineer at DTCC, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects, collaborate with a dynamic team, and receive investment in your professional development. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and providing technical support for applications in daily operations. Your responsibilities will include verifying analysis, resolving critical application alerts, collaborating with internal teams, and identifying automation opportunities to reduce manual effort associated with application monitoring.Key Responsibilities:- Verify analysis performed by team members and implement changes to prevent reoccurrence of incidents- Resolve critical application alerts in a timely fashion, including production defects, and provide business impact analysis- Review and update knowledge articles and runbooks with application development teams- Collaborate with internal teams to provide answers to application issues and escalate when needed- Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual effort associated with application monitoring- Partner with development teams to provide input into the design and development stages of applications- Execute pre-production/production application code deployment plans and end-to-end vendor application upgrade process- Align risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate riskQualifications:- Minimum of 6 years of related experience- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experienceAdditional Company Details:With over 50 years of experience, DTCC is the premier post-trade market infrastructure for the global financial services industry.
