Job Description

You are being offered an exciting opportunity to join Zoetis India Capability Center (ZICC) in Hyderabad, a part of the worlds leading animal healthcare company. As a high-performing finance professional, you will play a crucial role in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Controllership, and Taxation. Your responsibilities will include developing budgets, forecasts, and financial models, as well as managing Indias direct and indirect tax compliance. This role requires you to partner closely with business leaders to evaluate performance, optimize resource allocation, and guide investment decisions. Additionally, you will oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, coordinate with auditors, and ensure accurate financial reporting.Key Responsibilities:- Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual USGAAP financial closings, trial balance reconciliation, necessary adjustments, financial finalizations and SOX controls- Act as primary liaison with regulatory authorities, external auditors, and internal compliance teams- Conduct annual budgeting and forecasting for ZICC covering all operational expenses- Perform variance analysis, interpret financial results, and recommend corrective actions- Handle compliance, reporting, and assessment for both Direct and Indirect Tax- Liaise with external tax advisors and local tax authorities- Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes- Analyze business performance, variances, and KPIs; provide actionable insights to management- Develop and maintain financial models for revenue, cost, profitability, and scenario planningQualifications Required:- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute- Experience: 10-12 years in finance roles, with at least 3 years in FP&A and 2-3 years in Indian tax compliance- Exposure to multinational business environments & experience in dealing with international tax matters- Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws, corporate finance, and accounting principles- Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and ERP systemsAbout Zoetis:Zoetis is the worlds leading animal health company, dedicated to advancing care for animals globally.
