Job Description

    As a Lead Software Engineer at DTCC, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects and collaborate with a supportive team while receiving investment in your professional development. Your role will involve working closely with business partners and clients to define requirements and implement solutions that solve complex business problems.**Key Responsibilities:**- Act as a technical expert on DTCCs applications- Collaborate with Business System Analyst to ensure designs meet functional requirements- Partner with Infrastructure to deploy optimal hosting environments- Tune application performance to enhance efficiency- Research and evaluate technical solutions aligned with DTCC technology standards- Contribute to the design, development, and testing of software systems- Support development teams, testing, troubleshooting, and production support- Implement different software development methodologies as needed- Create applications and unit test cases to ensure compliance with requirements- Work with peers to improve ways of working, continuous integration, and delivery- Align risk and control processes into daily responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk**Qualifications:**- Minimum of 6 years of related experience- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience**Talents Needed for Success:**- Develop and maintain COBOL programs for batch and online processing in CICS regions- Design and optimize DB2 SQL queries, stored procedures, and ensure compliance with DB2 standards- Implement IBM MQ messaging solutions for secure and reliable communication- Perform JCL scripting for job scheduling and execution; troubleshoot abends and optimize batch performance- Ensure alignment with SDLC and release management processes- Collaborate in Agile squads, provide estimates, participate in sprint planning, and deliver incremental value- Support production environments, including incident triage and resolution- Stay current on changes in your specialist area and seek learning opportunities- Foster a culture of honesty and transparency- Invest effort in coaching others and building collaborative teams- Communicate openly and keep the organization informedDTCC offers competitive compensation, comprehensive health and life insurance, retirement benefits, paid time off, and a flexible/hybrid work model.
