Role Overview:As the Manager, Finance Systems (Indirect Tax Engine) at McDonalds in Hyderabad, you will be responsible for serving as the Functional Solutions Manager for Vertex (Tax). Your role will involve liaising with the business to understand and translate their requirements into technology needs. You will collaborate with technology experts and global process leads to develop and test solutions, while also analyzing, defining, and improving finance-related processes and systems to support key organizational capabilities. Your efforts will ensure that Global Finance solutions align with business goals and optimize Global Finance operations.Key Responsibilities:- Execute on the strategy and roadmap, partnering with teams to interpret technical requirements and advise leaders on leveraging technical capabilities to align with strategic objectives.- Design, implement, and optimize Vertex, Oracle Fusion, and related systems to meet business needs and global finance strategies.- Serve as a Vertex functional expert, coordinating on questions, solutions, tools, testing, and related communications or training support.- Collaborate with global finance stakeholders to collect and document requirements related to Vertex, related systems, processes, and data.- Partner with technology experts and global process leads for configuration and deployment of changes.- Evaluate existing global finance software and tools, recommending enhancements or replacements as needed.- Partner with Finance stakeholders and technology experts to improve system integration between solutions.- Facilitate change management execution for the adoption of new finance processes and technologies.- Support user acceptance testing and ensure changes to solutions go through appropriate audit and controls reviews.- Document business requirements, functional specifications, data models, and process maps comprehensively.Qualification Required:- Degree in Business, Finance, or Technology preferred.- Experience with Vertex required, along with working knowledge of Oracle Fusion.- English Proficiency (written and verbal IRL Level 4).Additional Details:McDonalds Corporation, with a new office in Hyderabad, serves as a dynamic innovation and operations hub to expand its global talent base and expertise.
