Job Description

As a Quant Analytics Associate Sr. in the Business Banking D&A Marketing Team, your role involves providing data-driven solutions to questions and problem statements related to BB Campaigns & Acquisitions. You will interact with stakeholders, requiring a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, data discovery, and documentation. This high exposure role offers frequent opportunities to work directly with presidents and general managers.**Key Responsibilities:**- Interact with stakeholders to understand business needs and analyze problem statements for data-driven insights.- Identify different data points required for analysis throughout the Enterprise Data warehouse.- Write SQL codes and stored procedures to capture necessary data and share insights through Tableau reports or presentations.- Design codes efficiently to maximize performance and reporting consistency.- Enhance ad-hoc reporting capabilities for a broad user community.- Organize reporting elements, label them clearly, and provide meaningful descriptions.- Document data logics accurately and store them in a Bitbucket repository.- Proactively identify growth areas and opportunities to influence and fine-tune strategies.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver customized analyses and strategic roadmaps.- Provide regular updates to key stakeholders and senior leaders.**Leadership Abilities:**- Make impactful decisions for both business and people.- Solve complex business problems effectively.- Self-motivated with the ability to coach team members for consistent high performance.- Assist in identifying and onboarding talents, mentoring team members, and identifying growth opportunities.**Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:**- Bachelors/Masters Degree in a quantitative discipline with 8 years of experience in Data Transformation and Visualization.- Hands-on experience in writing complex SQL code and automating data processes.- Experience with data analytics tools and technologies (SQL, Alteryx, Tableau).- Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to listen to stakeholders.- Demonstrated ability to think independently and collaboratively to implement creative solutions.- Superior judgment to mitigate risks and foster a risk-aware environment.- Experience in working with large, complex datasets and optimizing SQL scripts under strict timelines.**Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:**- Previous experience in insights function at financial services or consulting firms.- Strong grasp of big data disciplines, AWS, Agile methodologies, and new technologies.- Lifelong learner with a growth mindset and a passion for industry knowledge.- Ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders for collaboration and decision-making.Your role as a Quant Analytics Associate Sr. offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to drive impactful strategies and solutions through data-driven insights and collaboration across teams.
