As a Legal Associate for Non-Litigation (Real Estate) at Avenue Supermarts Limited, your role will entail the following responsibilities:**Role Overview:**You will be responsible for handling all non-litigation matters for the organization in the State of Telangana. This includes working with the package teams on non-litigation matters, conducting due diligence of lands, and structuring acquisitions. Your key focus will be on implementing best-in-class systems and processes to enhance team performance. Additionally, you will lead, direct, and guide a team of executives to ensure timely and quality support across multiple divisions. Your tasks will also involve vetting various legal documents such as Agreements for Sale, Lease Agreements, Development Agreements, and other documents related to litigation.**Key Responsibilities:**- Work with package teams on non-litigation matters- Conduct due diligence of lands and structure acquisitions- Implement best-in-class systems and processes- Lead and guide a team of executives to deliver timely and quality support- Vet various legal documents related to litigation**Qualifications Required:**- LLB/LLM with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Real Estate Company/Retail- Excellent commercial drafting skills are a must- Sound knowledge of Property Laws of the State of Telangana is required- Familiarity with the Telugu language is preferredIn addition to the specific job role, Avenue Supermarts Limited, popularly known as DMart, is a two-decade-old retail business operating a leading supermarket chain with 370 stores across 12 states in India.
