Operations Analyst, Cash Settlements

Job Description

    You will be part of the Fiduciary Operations team at Fiduciary Trust International, working closely with Client Services Administrators and Portfolio Managers to support day-to-day Cash Settlements operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:- Supporting cash settlements functions for FTCI institution, including cash and remittance payments, and providing support to Trust, Employee Benefit Trust, Tax department, and Custody functions.- Creating and distributing critical reports to business heads and higher management.- Working in a fast-paced environment against stringent deadlines throughout the day to ensure agreed services delivery.- Ensuring the activities/tasks are performed accurately and timely by the team and supporting the supervisor in process activities.- Gathering and researching information, resolving problems, and working well in a daily deadline-oriented environment.- Working on multiple tasks simultaneously and keeping all appropriate personnel informed of current activity and events.- Handling various external and internal contacts, requiring excellent client service, oral, and verbal communication skills.Your ongoing responsibilities as an Operations Analyst, Cash Settlements will include:- Daily processing of cash transactions such as reviewing all checks presented for payments, processing stop payments on checks, and processing remittance events on the Accounting platform.- Responding timely to customer service requests and interacting with the US Cash Settlements team to ensure timely completion of requests.- Monitoring and ensuring the verification of all cash transactions on the accounting system.- Tracking internal errors, suggesting process improvements, and responding to all process inquiries promptly.- Analyzing and coordinating adhoc requests and providing information in a timely manner.- Leading business meetings, preparing critical reports, and working on projects and process improvements related to Cash Settlements.To be successful in this role, ideal qualifications, skills, and experience would include:- Bachelors in commerce and accounting is mandatory.- Relevant experience of 1 to 4 years in the Banking and Financial Services Industry.- Solid Accounting skills with exposure and know-how on reconciliations and Balance Sheet.- Sound knowledge of Payment Processing.Experience our welcoming culture and reach your professional and personal potential at Fiduciary Trust International, owned by Franklin Templeton.
