Oracle Functional Tester - Tech Lead

Job Description

As a QA tester at our company, you will be a team player with a financial background and a strong understanding of the SDLC and defect life cycle. Your responsibilities will include analyzing requirements, documenting test plans, writing and executing manual and automated test cases, and analyzing test results.**Key Responsibilities:**- Perform analysis of requirements- Document a test plan- Write and execute manual and automated test cases- Analyze test results**Qualifications Required:**- 5 years of professional experience in IT or related fields- Competency in Oracle GL, sub-ledgers, or Procurement- Solid foundation in Banking and Finance domains- SQL Skills including writing complex queries and understanding stored procedures, triggers, and views- Ability to work in a fast-paced, scalable agile team- Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules- Ability to multi-task and take initiative when needed- Problem-solving instinct and ability to drill down to basics- Quick learner with a willingness to learn new domain/platform/application/toolsAt our company, you will need to have proficiency in at least three modules of Finance and Procurement, expertise in core Oracle EBS and cloud functionalities, and in-depth knowledge to understand requirements and write detailed test plans and test cases. You should also have expertise in Functional Quality Assurance and knowledge of application development and testing lifecycle, manual and automation testing skills, and proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium or TOSCA. You must have an extensive background in lifecycle tracking tools such as JIRA, ZEPHYR, or XRAY, strong interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team setting.
