Job Description

As an experienced Product Manager in a technical domain, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing a team of Product Managers to drive platform strategy and ensure cross-functional alignment. Your responsibilities will include developing an overall strategy and vision for Enterprise Platform Products with AI Powered capabilities, building a deep understanding of customer and user needs, investing and scaling the Enterprise Product Ecosystem, and forging strong partnerships with key stakeholders. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing a robust problem intake funnel, quantifying platform product value with data, and establishing developer productivity standards.**Role Overview:**In this role, you will be leading a team of Product Managers to significantly contribute to Google by driving platform strategy, ensuring cross-functional alignment, wielding substantial decision-making autonomy, and fostering a customer-centric product maturity model.**Key Responsibilities:**- Develop overall strategy and vision for Enterprise Platform Products with AI Powered capabilities supported by a strong ecosystem.- Build a deep understanding of customer and user needs, as well as market and competitive analysis to help inform platform priorities.- Invest and scale the Enterprise Product Ecosystem.- Forge strong partnerships with key stakeholders, execute a platform approach consistent with other Google platform/infrastructure work, and develop strategic relationships across Google.- Develop a robust problem intake funnel, rationalize investments, create funding proposals, and establish prioritization principles based on outcomes and impact.- Quantify platform product value with data, establish developer productivity standards, and showcase Googles thought leadership.**Qualifications Required:**- Minimum of 15 years of experience in product management in a technical domain.- Minimum of 8 years of experience leading and managing people in a technical team/organization.- Experience with leading or influencing engineering teams.- Preferred qualifications include a minimum of 20 years of experience in product management in a technical domain, experience in developing and scaling enterprise platforms with ecosystems, and expertise in areas such as analytics and visualization, machine learning, large-scale distributed systems, or user experience design.This role within the Enterprise Product Management (EPM) Organization at Google is essential for navigating the complexities of platform development, ensuring strategic alignment, and driving product adoption across Corp Eng.
