Job Description

As a member of the GSS DAS team at Uber, you will play a crucial role in driving the analysis behind various Product and Ops related decisions. Your responsibilities will include leading multiple data-driven projects, such as strategic technical program management, designing KPI tracking systems, performing analytical deep dives, developing machine learning solutions, and building scalable automation tools using Python and AI. Your expertise in data analysis and visualization will be essential in developing end-to-end analytical solutions. You will also be responsible for translating these solutions into actionable insights and recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences. Additionally, you will lead vendor data analysts in project execution and deliver multiple analytical and data engineering projects to partner teams.Key Responsibilities:- Lead multiple data-driven projects, including strategic technical program management and developing machine learning solutions- Design KPI tracking systems and perform analytical deep dives- Develop scalable automation tools using Python and AI- Translate analytical solutions into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences- Maintain and improve the quality and efficiency of analytical solution delivery- Lead vendor data analysts in project execution- Decipher large data sets to answer core data questions- Design ML-based project plans and strategies- Develop intelligent data products like chatbots and recommendation systems- Apply pretrained models to business use casesQualifications Required:- Minimum 7 years of experience in business intelligence analytics, data engineering, or a similar role- Proficiency in SQL in a production environment- Experience using Python or R to work with large data sets and apply ML, DL, AI capabilities- Proficiency in dashboarding and data visualization tools- Strong communication skills for sharing data insights with peers- Team player with multitasking abilities- Experience working with remote teams and across time zonesUbers mission is to reimagine the way the world moves for the better.
