Job Description

    Role Overview:As the SharePoint Content Specialist for the Corporate Marketing department, you will be responsible for managing the current intranet and leading the project to develop a new, improved intranet platform. Your attention to detail, responsiveness, and enthusiasm, coupled with strong project management and writing skills, will be key in owning the companys digital communication hub.Key Responsibilities:- Lead the strategic project to build a new intranet, overseeing visual design, site navigation, content development, user engagement, and training initiatives.- Coordinate with key stakeholders and provide oversight for the SharePoint technology integration.- Conduct research to understand and address intranet user needs.- Develop and maintain a clear site navigation structure (information architecture).- Prepare and publish content, lists, libraries, and pages on the companys intranet platform via SharePoint.- Provide comprehensive training to staff on using the intranet platform and resolve end-user and content-related questions.- Manage initiatives from concept to successful completion.- Analyze and execute the migration and conversion of content into the SharePoint environment.- Propose and implement enhancements to the intranet platform based on requirements and usage data.- Contribute design ideas for SharePoint site and page creation and improvements.- Resolve user requests and issues related to the intranet platform, escalating when necessary.- Gather intranet metrics and assist in preparing reports.- Assist in drafting and updating documentation and instructional materials.- Maintain regular communication with the Corporate Marketing team and liaise with the IT Department.- Undertake general administrative tasks and duties as assigned.Qualifications:- Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.- Minimum of 4 years of experience implementing or managing SharePoint sites.- Basic understanding of web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.- Demonstrated project management experience.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.- Proven leadership skills to coordinate activities with colleagues.If you are a proactive individual with a passion for creating intuitive and engaging digital experiences, we encourage you to apply!
