Job Description

    As a Manager II, Technical Scrum Lead at EY, you will have the opportunity to lead a team providing agile methodology services to cross-functional technology-related projects or product teams. Your role will involve demonstrating technical expertise to improve team productivity and the quality of work processes and outcomes, with a focus on enterprise-wide implications. You will be responsible for embedding agile best practices in delivery, managing stakeholder alignment, and driving team performance through metrics and continuous feedback.**Key Responsibilities:**- Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew, providing necessary guidance and training for their development.- Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with HR policies.- Leads, builds, and coaches high-performing teams in delivering technology-related products or projects aligned with business goals.- Instructs and coaches other professionals.- Leads planning, team learning, and adaptation of processes to ensure quality solutions.- Enables a continuous learning environment and strengthens the teams understanding of Agile/Scrum concepts.- Recommends technology-related outcomes for prioritization and drives shared vision between the team and product owner.- Applies agile frameworks to increase the effectiveness of product development.- Removes roadblocks to development and architecture, sharing learnings with other projects.- Manages stakeholder expectations and helps teams estimate deliverables and increase sprint velocity.- Acts as a Subject Matter Expert for agile methodologies and best practices.- Facilitates scrum ceremonies and monitors team dynamics for collaboration.- Manages development tracking systems and motivates cross-functional teams.**Skills and Attributes for Success:**- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills- Constantly updating yourself about new technologies- Ability to become a trusted advisor to stakeholders- Proficiency in Agile, Confluence, JIRA, monitoring dashboards, and continuous process improvement- Understanding of Java, Angular, Node.js, POSTMAN, CUCUMBER, AWS services, and SQL queries**Qualifications Required:**- Minimum 8 years of experience in Agile software development, with at least two years leading large cross-functional teams- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field- Certifications like CSM, SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP, or ICAgile Certified Professional are preferred- Demonstrated ability to build high-performing agile teams and foster a culture of continuous improvementJoin EY to build a better working world by contributing to long-term value for clients, people, and society through innovative solutions and trust in the capital markets.
