Job Description

Role Overview:In this role, you will be a Senior Business Analyst responsible for analyzing business requirements, evaluating feasibility, proposing solutions, and providing end-to-end pre and post HUB & core banking system production support. You will also carry out HUB & Core banking system Manager tasks, Investigations Support, and Data Extraction support for stakeholders globally based on the module allocated.Key Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance with HSBC Group company policies and procedures, including regulatory requirements- Use SQL, SAS I series applications to extract data from the HUB system and share reports as per business requirements- Investigate and respond to HUB user problems, manage the setup of HUB parameters, maintain SD tables, and ensure expected results from HUB- Perform HUB Manager functions in line with BIM Vol. 2 Administration, Control, and Retail Banking Operations- Generate periodic project status updates to the Business and Management- Conduct System Acceptance Testing (SAT) and assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with defect resolution- Produce project documentation such as Terms of Reference, Document of Understanding, etc.- Act as a cohesive unit with Business Analysts to ensure timely project delivery- Update and enhance HUB knowledge of the team and users effectively via HUB forums and HUB netQualifications Required:- Minimum 3 - 5 years of working experience with Groups Core Banking and Peripheral Applications, specifically HUB, CARM, RPS, etc.- Ability to maintain control, direction, and motivation in a changing environment- Functional knowledge & experience of Payments, Core Banking Operations, Finance, Lending, Trade, Internet Banking, CARM, etc.- Technical expertise in SQL coding, SAS, Python, MACROs, Microsoft Excel Coding (specific to the Data Extraction Module in GHCS)- Excellent Stakeholder Management and Governance skills- Self-driven, self-motivated, and a proven team player- Quick learner with the ability to transfer knowledge to colleagues- Excellent business writing skills- Experience in project management, including planning and business-focused consultancy supportAdditional Details:HSBC is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a workplace culture where all employees are valued, respected, and their opinions count.
