Senior Cisco UC Engineer - Tier 3

Job Description

As a Senior Cisco Unified Communications Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing Cisco UC and Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE) solutions. Your expertise in Cisco UCCE with CVP, Voice Gateways, Call Management, and Webex Collaboration tools will be crucial for this role. You will own the entire project lifecycle, from design to support, and provide infrastructure support in Hyderabad and Vizag.Key Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and support Cisco Unified Communications systems such as CUCM, UCCE, CVP, and IP IVR solutions.- Configure and manage Cisco Voice Gateways (SIP, H.323, MGCP) and develop call routing plans.- Troubleshoot ICM call routing scripts, CVP call flows, and Finesse desktop configurations.- Deploy Webex Calling and Meetings in hybrid or cloud environments and ensure seamless integration.- Monitor voice call quality, optimize performance, and collaborate with other teams for integration.- Perform advanced troubleshooting for call flow failures, media path issues, and contact center escalations.- Provide L3 support, lead escalations, and mentor junior engineers.- Maintain detailed documentation for all UC systems, designs, and operational procedures.Required Skills & Qualifications:- 812 years of hands-on experience in Cisco Unified Communications and UCCE technologies.- Strong expertise in UCCE with CVP, ICM scripting, and CUCM configuration.- In-depth knowledge of VoIP protocols: SIP, H.323, MGCP.- Experience with Cisco Finesse, CUIC, UCCX, and Voice Gateway management.- Practical experience with Webex Meetings/Calling and hybrid collaboration environments.- Excellent troubleshooting skills, performance optimization abilities, and strong communication skills.- Willingness to work in or relocate to Hyderabad or Vizag.
