Senior Cloud Development Engineer

******Role Overview:**As a member of the Pega Cloud team at Pegasystems, you will be part of a dynamic group focused on delivering essential services for Pegas Software as a Service (SaaS) success. Collaborating with talented engineers and product owners globally, you will contribute to building a highly scalable SaaS offering.**Key Responsibilities:**- Design, build, and operate highly available, scalable cloud-native systems using Java, Golang, and AWS cloud services.- Collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, and team members to design and document new Pega Cloud features.- Design and execute unit, integration, and API tests.- Utilize DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines to automate operations of services.- Assist the operations team with sophisticated operations throughout the service lifecycle.**Qualifications Required:**- Bachelors/masters degree in computer science or related field with 5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience.- Strong knowledge of Java, particularly in the microservices aspect. Experience with GoLang is a plus.- Ability to design a microservices-based architecture using Cloud-native design patterns and serverless frameworks, focusing on scalability and high availability.- Excellent understanding and experience in Cloud technologies, equivalent to AWS Associate Architect or similar for Google or Azure.- Good knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Helm, Terraform, or Cloudformation.- Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes, with CKAD certification being advantageous.- Knowledge of networking is a plus.**Additional Company Details:**Pegasystems is renowned for developing strategic applications for sales, marketing, service, and operations for leading enterprises worldwide.
