Your role as a Senior Lead Data Management Analyst at Wells Fargo involves working closely with product owners to analyze data, identify gaps, and create requirements. You will develop new strategies for data management and be responsible for guiding and grooming the team on data model design changes, transformation logics, and solutions. Additionally, you will collaborate with development teams for effective implementation. Here are the key responsibilities associated with this role:- Act as an advisor to leadership and contribute to the development of objectives, plans, and specifications for complex business and technical needs- Design and conduct analysis to identify and address data quality or integrity issues, process gaps, and control gaps for CIB Data Validation- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex challenges across multiple areas, delivering long-term solutions that require vision, creativity, and innovation- Provide expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative business solutions and recommend remediation strategies for process or control gaps- Engage with professionals across the LoB, serve as an expert advisor to leadership, and develop data governance strategies- Partner with companywide groups to drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution- Create requirements, propose data model design changes, provide transformation logics and solutions, and guide the team on deliverables and process improvement- Lead discussions with US partners and stakeholders to gain consensus and provide senior partners with delivery of findings and recommendations- Assess risks, ensure mitigations, escalate issues/defects, and collaborate with technology partners for research and remediationQualifications Required:- 15 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Data Management, Banking (Treasury/Capital Market/Investment/Financial Risk Management)- 7 years of experience in Data Management, Project Management, Data mapping, data modeling, databases, and root cause analysis- 5 years of experience in Python, Power BI, and Tableau desired- Financial product knowledge/exposure in Derivatives, Securities Financing Transactions, Collateral management, and Intraday- Good understanding of Market-related reference data- Excellent SQL/Hive skills, including queries, joins, data modeling, and relational DB concepts- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsDesired Qualifications:- Expertise in Capital Marketing and Investment Banking concepts- Experience working with remote teams- Experience in Data mapping, Data Lineage, and data profiling- Solid experience with MS Excel- Understanding of Agile methodologyWells Fargo values diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace, welcoming applications from all qualified candidates.
