Senior SAP Security Analyst

Job Description

As an SAP Security Consultant, you will play a crucial role in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team by designing, configuring, and maintaining SAP application security. Your primary responsibility will involve creating and implementing secure, role-based access for end users across various SAP landscapes to ensure compliance with organizational policies and project specifications.**Key Responsibilities:**- **SAP Role Design & Configuration:** - Develop and manage SAP role-based security for all SAP environments, encompassing design, configuration, and deployment of roles.- **Access Management:** - Review and approve SAP access requests, evaluate authorization needs, and guarantee prompt provisioning of user access.- **Support & Troubleshooting:** - Offer daily global support for user ID access issues, troubleshoot authorization errors, and resolve problems within SAP systems.- **Project Participation:** - Assist in SAP security tasks during projects, such as role configuration, unit/integration testing, implementation, and post-go-live support.- **Compliance & Governance:** - Collaborate with Internal Audit, IT Governance, and Compliance teams to uphold security standards and regulatory requirements.- **Documentation:** - Develop and update security standards, processes, and procedures in alignment with company policies.- **On-Call Support:** - Engage in a rotating on-call schedule and ensure extended availability during critical system maintenance and go-live events.**Qualifications & Skills Required:**- **Education:** - Bachelors degree in information technology or equivalent experience.- **Experience:** - 5 to 7 years of experience in SAP Security.- **SAP Security Expertise:** - Hands-on experience with SAP user and role maintenance (SU01, PFCG, SU53, ST01, SUIM, AGR* tables).- **GRC Knowledge:** - Familiarity with SAP GRC modules (ARM, EAM, UAR, ARA).- **Access Control Concepts:** - Profound understanding of role-based access, approval workflows, privileged access management, segregation of duties (SoD), and access recertification.- **Technical Skills:** - Experience with SAP Fiori is a plus.- **Soft Skills:** - Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and work independently, including remote work when necessary.- **Compliance Awareness:** - Knowledge of IT governance and audit requirements.Please Note: The experience level for this position is Senior Level.
