Job Description

    As a software engineer at Google, you will be part of a dynamic team developing next-generation technologies that impact billions of users worldwide. Your role will involve working on projects critical to Googles needs, with the opportunity to explore different teams and projects as the business evolves. With your technical expertise, you will be responsible for managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, while designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions.Key Responsibilities:- Write and test product or system development code.- Participate in design reviews to evaluate available technologies.- Review code developed by peers, providing feedback to ensure best practices are followed.- Contribute to documentation and educational content, adapting based on product updates and user feedback.- Troubleshoot and resolve product or system issues by analyzing the sources of problems and their impact on operations.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.- 5 years of experience programming in Java or C.- 3 years of experience programming in JavaScript or TypeScript.- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.- 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.Preferred Qualifications:- Masters degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.- 5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.- Experience developing accessible technologies.
