Senior Software Test Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer In Test at Emburse, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the experiences of customers, solving interesting challenges, and ensuring the quality of new solutions. Emburse is known for its innovation and award-winning technologies, providing you with the opportunity to work alongside the best minds in the industry and grow your career within the company.**Key Responsibilities:**- Possess 7-9 years of testing experience in a software domain- Demonstrate broad knowledge of Computer Science concepts- Code in at least one language and have exposure to multiple languages, testing frameworks, and tools- Innovate with the latest testing frameworks and enhance existing testing processes- Design, write, and implement integration and components, with UI testing not required- Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Owners, AI/ML engineers, and other stakeholders to design test and automation opportunities- Identify and report high-quality/complexity issues and defects with extensive research and evidence- Own the CI/CD process from Test to Prod- Write moderately complex code/scripts to test systems and implement test infrastructure as necessary- Contribute to API documentation and peer code reviews- Identify opportunities for automation and define automation work for the product roadmap**Qualifications Required:**- Professional experience working with a test automation framework in Python (e.g., Pytest, Playwright) or equivalent- Professional experience with SQL and source control (e.g., Git)- Experience designing, writing, and executing manual test cases- Familiarity with AWS services and agile application development lifecycle- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent years experience- Minimum of 7 years professional experience in QA Engineering in a software development environmentThis role at Emburse will allow you to work on cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the growth and success of the company.
