Role Overview:Join Amgen in their mission to serve patients by contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of the ServiceNow Core Platform operations and key modules. As a vital team member, you will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, secure, and efficient solutions that meet evolving business requirements. Your responsibilities will include platform upgrades, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and support to ensure operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain the ServiceNow core platform, including Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Security Operations (SecOps), and Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) modules- Provide support in other modules such as IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), Integrated Risk Management (GRC/IRM), and custom-built applications- Design and implement system upgrades, patches, and platform maintenance activities for system stability and performance- Monitor platform health, security, and performance metrics, proactively addressing any issues- Create and configure workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and integrations aligned with platform operations and business needs- Manage and optimize platform configurations for improved performance, usability, and security- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure platform compliance with business requirements and operational standard methodologies- Design role-based access control (RBAC) for platform security and alignment with compliance and security standards- Automate platform operations to streamline administration and improve efficiency- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for platform-related incidents, working with multi-functional teams for prompt issue resolution- Contribute to ServiceNow platform strategy discussions for continuous improvements and enhancements- Maintain up-to-date documentation for platform configurations, technical architecture, and operational processes- Stay updated with ServiceNow platform releases, features, and standard methodologies for recommending enhancements and innovationsQualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field- 9 to 12 years of experience in Computer Science, IT, or related field- ServiceNow Module Expertise: Extensive experience in SPM, SecOps, HRSD, and building/maintaining custom applications- Scripting & API Integration: Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and Flow Designer for automating workflows and integrating third-party systems- Custom Application Development: Solid experience designing, developing, and supporting custom applications on ServiceNow- Cross-Module Support: Ability to provide technical support across different ServiceNow capabilities like ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, GRC, etc.*Note: Additional company details were not provided in the job description.
