Job Description

    Role Overview:The Macquarie User Access Management Transformation Program offers exciting opportunities for engineers to innovate, design, build, and maintain solutions. As part of the Site Reliability Engineering team, you will be responsible for the reliability, performance, and efficiency of systems and services that drive user access management controls and operations. At Macquarie, you will be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone contributes ideas and drives outcomes.Key Responsibilities:- Identify opportunities to automate and remove toil across areas within the User Access Management domain such as User Access Reviews, Access Provisioning, Role-Based Access Controls, etc.- Partner with engineering teams within Macquarie to develop and drive the adoption of SRE best practices and tooling across the organization.- Engage and collaborate with the engineering community to help solve significant challenges by working in an embedded SRE team.- Be involved in projects focusing on measuring, testing, and improving resilience, capacity planning, change management, and observability.- Utilize scripting languages with any cloud platform, experience in log monitoring tools, strong DevOps fundamentals with preference for Java, Golang, and Microservices.- Software engineering and system design utilizing Java, providing Root Cause Analysis and troubleshooting/debugging Java applications in production.- Understand and implement SLOs, metrics, logs, and traces effectively.- Demonstrate excellent understanding of reliability patterns and implementing them at scale to enhance the customer experience.- Stay prepared to utilize AI to improve productivity and product outcomes.- Experience in APM and Observability tools.Qualifications Required:- 4 to 9 years of strong experience in any scripting language with any cloud platform.- Experience in log monitoring tools and strong DevOps fundamentals with preference for Java, Golang, Microservices.- Software engineering and system design utilizing Java and able to provide Root Cause Analysis and troubleshooting/debugging Java applications in production.- Understanding of SLOs, metrics, logs, and traces.- Excellent understanding of reliability patterns and implementing at scale.- Experience in APM and Observability tools.Additional Company Details:Macquarie is a global financial services group operating in 31 markets with 56 years of unbroken profitability.
