Job Description

As a Lead for Application Managed Services (AMS) and IT Operations Support at Thermo Fisher Scientifics Center of Excellence in India, your role is crucial in connecting technology, people, and processes to ensure reliable, compliant, and secure operations across the global pharmaceutical manufacturing network.**Role Overview:**You will lead a diverse team managing GxP IT operations, OT networking, and application services, focusing on strengthening reliability, data integrity, and regulatory compliance. Collaborating with global IT, QA, and Operations teams, you will play a key role in keeping systems secure, validated, and continuously improving.**Key Responsibilities:**- Establish, guide, and coordinate a team with varied strengths in GxP IT functions, OT network infrastructure, and application support services.- Develop a culture of compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement within the team.- Act as the main point of contact for handling operational and application support issues in the Center of Excellence.- Ensure all IT operations and support activities adhere to GxP, FDA, EMA, and other regulatory requirements.- Direct the management of incident, problem, and change processes for GxP systems.- Oversee support for OT networks and production systems to ensure robust connectivity and security.- Coordinate the provision of application support, maintenance, and improvements for production and laboratory systems.- Partner with corporate IT and other stakeholders to align AMS activities with operational priorities and compliance standards.**Qualifications Required:**- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Masters preferred).- 10 - 14 years of IT experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role supporting pharmaceutical or life sciences manufacturing environments.- Deep understanding of GxP regulations, CSV, and data integrity principles.- Proven expertise in ITSM, IT operations, and application management services.- Hands-on knowledge of OT networking, production systems, and manufacturing IT.- Strong people management, communication, and collaborator engagement skills.- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization is highly desirable.Thermo Fisher Scientific values diverse experiences, fosters a culture of learning and continuous improvement, and offers opportunities to collaborate globally and shape technology that supports life-changing science.
