Job Description

    As a Financial Reporting & Accounting expert at Novartis in Hyderabad, your role involves managing the reporting and accounting requirements for the general ledger to ensure compliance with external and internal accounting reporting standards in a timely and accurate manner.Key responsibilities:- Review Transactional Procurement Controls (Key and Non-Key) and execute them for specified countries as per Global Work Instructions- Work closely with Country SPOC / Business Partners / Country Procurement Team to obtain evidence on deviations- Collaborate with internal / external audit teams for control closure and audit requirements- Generate source reports for control execution and support regional NOCCs with specific control global reports- Own controls and activities for assigned countries- Perform periodic review of Controls Working Instructions and partner with Control Owner/SME on identified observations- Conduct annual controls scoping activity by collaborating with Country SPOC/Business Partners- Contribute to process improvement ideas and work with CIT team for implementation- Support team in Controls transitions/Reverse KTQualification Required:- University degree BCom/ MCom / MBA- 8 - 10 Years of Experience in a Shared Service Center or 3rd party environment- Exposure to Internal Controls & Compliance check- Good technical competence in SAP, Strong knowledge on Procurement- Strong experience in stakeholder management, report preparation, and MS Office skills- Knowledge in Alteryx and other tools are preferable- Strong communication skills, analytical competencies, attention to details, and customer service orientationAbout Novartis:Novartis aims to reimagine medicine to improve and extend peoples lives, striving to become the most valued and trusted medicines company globally.
