Role Overview:As the Senior Manager, VAVE / Cost Out, your main responsibility will be to lead and manage cost-out initiatives across divisions. Your primary focus will be on achieving 10M - 12M in cost savings within a calendar year while also creating a pipeline of 12M - 16M in active projects for the following year. Your role will involve developing and implementing cost-out strategies to meet and surpass financial targets.Key Responsibilities:- Develop comprehensive cost-out strategies aligning with short-term and long-term objectives, in line with overall business goals and financial targets.- Lead and supervise multiple cost-out projects across two business units, ensuring timely execution and delivery of cost savings initiatives.- Supervise and report on cost savings and pipeline progress, analyzing financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and other departments to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.- Identify process optimization and waste reduction opportunities, implementing Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies for driving efficiencies.- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on cost-out progress, prepare detailed reports and presentations on cost-out strategies and outcomes.- Build a high-performing team, coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and cost consciousness.- Invest in research and development to explore new materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes for significant cost reductions.Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
