Staff Analyst - Treasury

Role Overview:You have the opportunity to join Qualcomms Treasury team as a Staff Analyst. In this role, you will be supporting the Global Treasury and Qualcomm Ventures teams in various areas such as capital markets, investment portfolio analysis, and new and existing Qualcomm Ventures support. You will need to utilize your prior finance experience and develop your skills within Treasury Ventures. It is essential to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with various finance teams across the company, and demonstrating strong analytical and communication skills.Key Responsibilities:- Partner with other finance groups and business units to analyze and report short-term and long-term cash forecasts, which are crucial for investment and capital structure strategies.- Assist in all capital markets ad-hoc analysis and transactions, including capital structure and allocation analysis, share repurchases, and bank group support.- Support the companys Ventures process by facilitating funding for new investments and monitoring the financial health of existing investments.- Collaborate closely with HQ and global region teams, engaging in regular interactions, reviews, transition calls, and documentation for all activities.Qualifications Required:- Masters in finance from a reputed B-school MBA or Qualified CA- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Treasury function or Financial Analysis- Proficiency in Oracle, Cognos TM1, or similar finance system tools is preferred.- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are necessary.- Experience with Bloomberg is a plus.- Strong interest in financial markets and excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.- Detail-oriented with the ability to perform well under pressure.- Capable of presenting financial information to non-financial audiences.- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and enhance skills with tools like Tableau, Power BI, etc.- Flexible for evening calls and regular interaction with global teams for reviews and transition calls.
