Technical Architect

Job Description

You will be joining Crisil, a data-centric organization, as a Technical Architect. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions capable of handling large data sets. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements and develop solutions will be a key aspect of your job.**Key Responsibilities:**- Design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that can handle large data sets.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements and develop solutions accordingly.- Review and fine-tune existing applications for optimal performance, scalability, and security.- Work with the central architecture team to establish best coding practices, principles, and guidelines.- Develop and maintain technical roadmaps in alignment with business objectives.- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance system performance, scalability, and security.- Lead the design and implementation of large-scale projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards.- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior staff.- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies, making recommendations for adoption.**Qualifications:**- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.- 10-15 years of experience in Software development, with a minimum of 5 years in technical architecture or a related field.**Technical Skills:**- Profound understanding of software architecture principles and patterns.- Proficiency in Java and Java-based technologies such as Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, Java EE, Angular, and React.- Familiarity with programming languages like Python, Scala, and PySpark.- Experience with cloud-based technologies like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.- Knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.- Familiarity with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.- Practical experience with DevOps practices like continuous integration and continuous deployment.**Leadership Skills:**- Demonstrated experience in leading technical teams and projects.- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.- Effective influencing and negotiation skills.**Soft Skills:**- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.- Superior written and verbal communication skills.- Adaptability to changing priorities and requirements.**Nice to Have:**- Masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.- Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools.- Experience with machine learning or artificial intelligence.- Certification in Java development or technical architecture such as TOGAF.- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.In addition to the above, Crisil offers a competitive salary and benefits package, opportunities for professional growth and development, a collaborative work environment, flexible working hours with remote work options, access to cutting-edge technologies, and recognition and rewards for outstanding performance.
