UI React Developer - Technology Lead

Job Description

As a Front-End Developer at Broadridge, your role will involve designing, developing, and implementing a new React/Redux-based front end for the SFCM platform. You will collaborate closely with back-end developers, UX/UI designers, product owners, and other stakeholders to create seamless and intuitive user experiences. Your responsibilities will include:- Leading code reviews, technical sessions, and hands-on mentorship to enhance team competence and facilitate sustainable knowledge transfer.- Partnering with QA and DevOps teams to ensure development aligns with quality, security, and regulatory requirements in the financial services domain.- Implementing secure coding standards, validating user inputs, managing authentication and authorization flows, and ensuring compliance with enterprise and regulatory security prerequisites throughout the development lifecycle.- Working in conjunction with Java back-end developers to ensure smooth integration between services and the user interface, and contributing to Java development tasks as necessary.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors or masters degree in engineering, preferably Computer Science/IT, or related fields.- Minimum of 8 years of professional development experience, with at least 4 years in front-end development using modern React/JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.Key Skills:- Proven experience with React and related libraries, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS (styled-components or similar), state management (Context API, Redux), RESTful APIs, data grids (AG Grid or similar), and web-based testing practices.- Experience in designing and implementing front-end migration into React with Redux, deploying and hosting web-based applications in a production environment.- Familiarity with back-end technologies, especially Java, and readiness to support cross-stack development when required.At Broadridge, we are committed to fostering a collaborative, engaging, and inclusive environment where associates are empowered to be authentic and deliver their best work.
