Job Description

    The Production Manager role in the Garments Industry requires overseeing the entire production process in the manufacturing unit. The primary responsibility is to ensure production targets are met efficiently, maintain quality standards, and optimize resources while adhering to timelines and budgets. Key Responsibilities:- Production Planning and Execution: Develop and implement detailed production plans based on customer orders and deadlines. Coordinate with merchandising and design teams for accurate interpretation of specifications. Allocate tasks to production teams and monitor progress regularly.- Quality Control: Enforce quality standards to meet customer requirements. Identify defects and implement corrective measures. Work closely with the QA/QC team to maintain product consistency.- Resource Management: Manage workforce, raw materials, and machinery to ensure smooth operations. Monitor the availability of fabric, trims, and accessories. Ensure machines are maintained regularly to avoid breakdowns.- Cost and Budget Control: Optimize production costs by reducing wastage, improving efficiency, and enhancing output. Ensure projects are completed within the allocated budget.- Team Management: Supervise production line supervisors, operators, and other staff. Conduct regular training sessions to improve skills and productivity. Handle performance evaluations and team motivation.- Compliance and Safety: Ensure the production unit complies with all safety standards, labor laws, and environmental regulations. Promote safe work practices and maintain a clean working environment.- Coordination and Reporting: Collaborate with procurement, merchandising, and logistics teams. Prepare production reports, analyze performance metrics, and present updates to senior management. Address production challenges and propose solutions.This is a full-time position with health insurance benefits, requiring 4 years of total work experience. The work location is in person, with a day shift schedule.,
