Job Description

    As an SDE 2 at MediBuddy, located in Indore, India, you will play a crucial role in the engineering team by developing and maintaining the backend systems that support our mobile and web platforms. Your primary focus will be on creating scalable microservices and REST APIs using technologies like Node.js/Express.js or .NET. Your contribution to these features directly impacts our users, making this role perfect for a proactive engineer with a strong software development background and a passion for solving intricate problems.Your responsibilities will include designing, building, and deploying robust and scalable microservices and REST APIs. You will also work on B2B integrations and the maintenance of existing systems to ensure they are reliable and performant. Writing clean, efficient, and well-tested code is essential, as well as participating in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards. Collaboration with product and design teams to understand requirements, breakdown tasks, and deliver features on schedule is crucial. Additionally, you will assist in implementing and managing deployments on AWS and contribute to monitoring and logging efforts.To excel in this role, you should have a B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science or a related field and possess at least 3 years of experience in building and deploying full-stack applications. Hands-on experience with Node.js/Express.js or .NET, familiarity with microservices architecture, and knowledge of message queues like SQS or RabbitMQ are required. Proficiency in relational databases such as MySQL or MsSQL, experience with in-memory datastores like Redis or Memcache, and familiarity with AWS services like RDS, ECS, EBS, and CloudWatch are essential. A strong problem-solving ability, commitment to efficient coding practices, proactive learning attitude towards new technologies, and a good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are also necessary skills for this role.MediBuddy is Indias largest on-demand, full-stack digital healthcare platform that provides users with access to multiple healthcare services.
