Job Description

As an SDE 3 at MediBuddy, youll play a crucial role in our engineering team by spearheading the design, development, and scaling of the core platform that powers our mobile and web applications. Your responsibilities will encompass ownership of the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring the robustness, security, and performance of our systems. This role necessitates a high level of technical proficiency, a penchant for problem-solving, and the capacity to effectively mentor and collaborate with a skilled team.You will be tasked with leading the design and implementation of highly scalable, fault-tolerant microservices and REST APIs for our mobile and web apps, taking complete ownership from design to deployment and monitoring. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers, advocate for best practices in system design, code quality, and testing, and manage technical stakeholders while communicating project status and risks. You will also be responsible for integrating with B2B partners, optimizing systems for performance and scalability on AWS to handle high traffic and data volume, implementing and managing DevOps practices, and maintaining a strong security focus to prioritize data privacy and security in all solutions.Collaboration with product managers and cross-functional teams to define requirements, plan sprints, and deliver high-quality features will be a key aspect of your role. Your educational background should include a B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with at least 5 years of experience in building and deploying full-stack applications in a production environment. Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js/Express.js or .NET, familiarity with databases like MySQL and MsSQL, experience with cloud services like AWS, and a good understanding of frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are essential.
